Muzzey had filed the suit against Ashworth, claiming that Ashworth had an affair w/his wife, Grace E. Muzzey. Ashworth charged that W. I. Wood acted in concert w/the newspaper to destroy his standing & reputation in the town of Bristol, Va. Plaintiff had represented Grace in a Bristol divorce suit.
