Notes / Description:

Bryce owned 5,000 to 10,000 acres of land near the RR line of the RR's Memphis Branch, which land includes Tennessee Ridge Station -- it is this portion of the land (comprising 6,000 to 7,000 acres) that is at issue. Wilson was Bryce's agent. [2 folders] Wilson was to rent the land, keep the taxes paid, & protect the land, specifically to keep anyone from cutting timber from it, as the land was primarily valuable for its timber. Wilson violated the arrangement in a variety of ways & the RR was involved.
