S. Umbenhauer, did not describe itself as a loan company. Umbenhauer stated that his firm "was engaged in the business of buying and discounting salaries". The firm also kept no record of accounts. When a party paid his note off or satisfied the bill of sale it was torn up. |

Plaintiff maintained Bland was paid by the month & there was never a contract. |
