Taylor, sheriff & election officer in Kingston, who noticed problem when ticket wouldn't go into ballot box. Three juries couldn't agree so 3 mistrials entered; 4th jury found Steinwehr guilty & fined him $5. Steinwehr described as man of good character, industrious, more than ordinary intelligence, but foreigner so prone to mistakes |
