The plaintiff acting as guardian of Ellen Snapp sought to recover time deposit certificates that were signed by the defendant, bank cashier. The bank closed January 21, 1933 and reorganized and reopened September 15, 1933. The plaintiff claims the reorganization was illegal and combines this case with State ex rel. D. D. Robertson, v. The Bank of Sevierville and sought to have his pleading filed as a petition in that cause and to have Robertson Superintendent of Banks for the State of TN. 3 folders

Insurance claim on the policy of Sidney Brown.

Defendant wished to recover money owed him because of the disabling injuries he received while working at the U. S. Pipe & Foundry Co. Policies included.

Arthur Lowe and Vernon Sisk and both charged with robbery for forcibly taking the money of Mr. S.C. Stephens. They came up behind him on his way home from work and pulled a knife on him and took his money.

$5000 for sidewalk maintenance.

Poe was found guilty of attempted voluntary manslaughter. Earl Martin testified that Poe assaulted him w/a knife after Martin's date w/Ruth Davis (Poe's former sweetheart). Poe had threatened Martin before.

Love & Gordon Bowers, trustee in bankruptcy of the estate of A. H. Love, sought damages to property in Sevierville. Co-defendants: State Highway Dept. & Commissioner of Highways and Public Works. While making improvments to West Main Street, defendants were accused of blocking ingress and egress of the Love property. 2 folders

During an argument over money, the Martins & Frank Peery assaulted Connie Sullivan (male) with a gun and shot him to death. They were convicted of voluntary manslaughter. Top binding could not be removed w/o damage to the document. Exhibit accompanying Mrs. Sullivan's testimony is a hand-drawn floor plan of the house in which the murder took place. Individuals who were standing in the room are identified by one initial each. Floor plan is on the back of a Raulstons Dry Cleaning shirt box.

Epperson held a trust deed on some land against the defendants. They had agreement stating that if the defendants wished to sell their property, they had to give public notice. They then attempted to sell without giving notice. Additional Defendants: J. B. Bullock, Roy Alexander

Cole originally charged with the murder of Hayden Raper. Whiskey was involved.

Bertie Lofty slipped on a piece of mud that was on the platform of a streetcar that she was boarding. This caused her to fall and injure herself. She is sued the TN Electric Power Co (owner of streetcar) for negligence. She seeks $3,000.00.
