Tendle was accused with Clarence Hill and Clyde Hill of the murder of Denver Pilcher. Tendle was spelled variously as Tindall. Dfnt. testified he went to Pilcher's to discuss water and profits of a whiskey still. Dfnt. swore Pilcher shot at him first, and he only shot back in self-defense. Testified Pilcher shot twice, and he only shot once. |
