View Entry State v. Percy Tendle Lauderdale Murder, 1st degree

Tendle was accused with Clarence Hill and Clyde Hill of the murder of Denver Pilcher. Tendle was spelled variously as Tindall. Dfnt. testified he went to Pilcher's to discuss water and profits of a whiskey still. Dfnt. swore Pilcher shot at him first, and he only shot back in self-defense. Testified Pilcher shot twice, and he only shot once.

Victim was Walter Curry. Charged with shooting Curry. Cover page included a note that indicated Dukes escaped from jail and as of the writing of the note had not been apprehended. Note is undated.
